Frequently Asked Questions

  • Your nearest Labcorp or Quest are good choices. Always check with your insurance to see if there are any limitations. For those without insurance or limited insurance coverage, your labs will likely be ordered using a cash pay discount through Labcorp. You will be provided a prepaid slip and asked to go to your closest Labcorp.

  • Since naturopathic doctors are out-of-network, our office visits are not typically covered. However, we are happy to provide a superbill you can submit to your PPO plan, if you choose.

    In most cases you would be able to use your insurance for labs, imaging and prescriptions based on your individual plan details. Make sure to check with them first so you fully understand your plan and deductibles.

    If you have HSA funds you might be able to utilize those to cover some of our services. Check with your plan to find out more details.

    Your Medicare Plan, with or without a supplement, does not cover naturopathic medical care.

  • For non-urgent matters that pertain to your current treatment plan or a clarification from a recent visit, you can send us a brief message through your Patient Portal. We will get back to you as soon as possible (usually 1-3 business days).

    Our clinic does not offer after hours on-call medical care.

  • You will receive consent forms and a new patient intake form that you are required to fill out. These will take approximately one hour to complete and must be submitted at least 48 hours prior to visit – if not, your appointment will need to be rescheduled. You will also be asked to upload any recent labs, imaging, or pathology reports into the portal at least 24 hours in advance for the doctor to have time to review prior to your appointment.

  • Please double check your appointment time and ensure that you are prepared. You will need to log into your Patient Portal before your appointment start time to minimize delays to your appointment. In some cases, the doctor may be running up to 15 minutes late. We thank you for your patience and understanding.

  • When you schedule an appointment, that time is reserved especially for you. Therefore, Nolia Naturopathic Medicine requires at least 48 hours advanced notice of any cancellations or changes of your scheduled appointments. There is no charge for rescheduling with more than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. For cancellations made less than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment and missed appointment (No-Shows), your credit card on file will be charged a non- refundable $100 late cancellation fee.

  • Dr. Jeane is committed to being on time with patients’ appointments. If you arrive late to your appointment, your appointment will end at the scheduled time, and you will be charged for the full length of the originally scheduled appointment.

  • Most often you can purchase these items from our virtual dispensary, Fullscript. New patients will receive an invitation via email to set up your account. Any special-order items will be discussed at the time it is prescribed.
