Meet Dr. LaDeana Jeane, ND, FABNO

Founder of Nolia Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. LaDeana Jeane began her integrative practice with the intention to have a greater impact on the health and well-being of her patients. With over a decade of experience, Dr. Jeane leads with a holistic approach, combining the best of naturopathic and conventional medicine to care for her patients and guide them toward better health outcomes.

Her key areas of expertise include naturopathic oncology and supporting those who are navigating health challenges related to their diagnosis or treatments. In particular, she focuses on treating cancer patients undergoing surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, as well as helps them recover from treatment and reduce their risk of recurrence. Her background and training offer a unique perspective on women’s specific healthcare needs throughout all phases of cancer survivorship.

Dr. Jeane is an expert in perimenopause and menopause care. She works with those who are experiencing hormonal changes, menstrual disorders, thyroid disease, digestive issues and general wellness concerns.

A deeply compassionate practitioner, Dr. Jeane takes the time to understand the individual lifestyles of her patients and what they’re going through to create tailored treatment plans. She strives to empower her patients with the knowledge and guidance they need to feel their best and achieve optimal health. Dr. Jeane uses a range of functional laboratory assessments, imaging when appropriate and treatments including botanical, homeopathic, nutraceutical medicines, IV therapies and pharmaceutical prescriptions when appropriate.

Prior to her medical career, Dr. Jeane spent many years working as a field biologist. Her life was full of adventure in the Bering Sea as she managed fisheries and worked with the desert tortoise and plants of the Mojave Desert in California. In 2011, she graduated at the top of her class from a leading naturopathic medical school, Sonoran University (formerly Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine & Health Sciences) and research facility in natural medicine in Tempe, Arizona. Dr. Jeane later went on to complete a two-year residency focused in naturopathic oncology and general practice at Yellowstone Naturopathic Clinic and Frontier Cancer Center. After many years of rigorous training, Dr. Jeane received her board certification in naturopathic oncology care and is a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology (FABNO).

In light of her unique background, Dr.Jeane believes that a holistic approach to healthcare paves the way for us to better understand the link between environmental concerns and our personal well-being. She pays special attention to how our health and happiness are influenced by the health of our communities and environmental factors such as pollution, habitat destruction, and disassociation from nature.

on a personal note

Dr. Jeane lives in Sebastopol, California and maintains a healthy work-life balance by doing the things she enjoys most. She has a profound connection with being outdoors, as it brings her a sense of peace and balance – a tradition that has been rooted in her family for generations. Whether she’s camping, hiking, fishing, or gardening, being in nature is how she finds inner clarity and strength on a daily basis.

At home, you can find her cooking up her favorite meals with fresh, wholesome ingredients that she proudly plants in her own garden. From playing guitar to listening along with friends and family, Dr. Jeane has always found solace in music as a form of personal and artistic expression. Music is an opportunity to use her brain in a different way, keeping her grounded in every aspect of her life.

Meet Dr. danielle Pearce, ND

Dr. Pearce, formerly Dr. Phillips-Dorsett, has dedicated herself to the profession of naturopathic medicine for over 10 years. She enjoys helping people understand what is going on with their bodies and how to take charge of their own health. This means giving patients an array of treatment options, from dietary changes, herbal and homeopathic remedies to medication management, lifestyle choices and counseling. Together, she works with patients to shape a care plan to what works for them.

Dr. Pearce grew up as Danielle Phillips-Dorsett in southern Vermont, skiing (and mostly snowboarding), hiking, camping and developing an admiration of the natural world. She was drawn west for college and quickly learned to appreciate wide-open spaces and endless mountains! She was a student athletic trainer, coached the women's lacrosse team, swam and played soccer for Whitman College.

After graduation she became a licensed massage therapist, worked for the court system as a case manager and spent a summer as a wildland firefighter, all while searching for a profession to leave an impact on others.

When she learned about naturopathic medicine, it was a no brainer to jump right in! Combining the laws of the natural world, the science of the human body and the art of working with others to find the best in themselves- she couldn't think of a better fit. The practical Vermonter in her said, "this makes total sense, this is how I want to help others and create a career of lifelong learning."

Dr. Pearce completed naturopathic medical school at Bastyr University in Seattle, WA. She took advanced training in hormonal health, women's health, environmental medicine, whole foods nutrition and preparation, botanical medicine, IV therapy, sports medicine and integrative oncology.

She went on to a 2 year residency in Billings, MT with the Yellowstone Naturopathic Clinic (YNC) and Frontier Cancer Center, now Cancer Centers of Montana- St. Vincent. She primarily saw patients with cancer through St. Vincent's and complex chronic disease, women's health and pediatrics at YNC. The six years spent at YNC was under the mentorship of Dr. Margaret Beeson, one of the premier naturopathic physicians in the country.

on a personal note

Since moving on from Yellowstone Naturopathic clinic, you can find Dr. Pearce in Whitefish, Montana, enjoying all that the Montana wilderness has to offer. She is grateful for the time she has had with her young children in a place with such a strong focus on community. Her family lives a very active lifestyle, taking advantage of the proximity to swimming, hiking, skiing and a vibrant art and music scene. Her passion lies in practicing what she promotes in her visits with patients; understanding the challenges and having the lived experience of what it means when the pendulum swings one way or the other.

Meet Tara Gilmore, office manager

I'm usually the first person you'll connect with when you reach out to Nolia Naturopathic Medicine and I genuinely love that part of my role. As Office Manager, I coordinate scheduling, patient communication, and the behind-the-scenes details that keep our clinic running smoothly. More than anything, I care about making sure you feel taken care of from the very first interaction.

Good patient care starts before your appointment ever begins. It's built through every interaction that helps you feel heard and supported. Reaching out for health support can feel vulnerable, and even the logistics can sometimes add stress. My job is to remove that friction. I handle the scheduling details, answer your questions, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks so our providers can focus entirely on your health and you can feel confident that everything else is covered.

I see my role as creating a foundation of support that allows everyone to do their best work. Our doctors need space to focus on complex care decisions without getting pulled into administrative details. Our patients need to feel genuinely supported and cared for throughout the entire process. That balance between organization and compassion is where I thrive, and it's what drives how I approach every part of this work.

on a personal note

I'm a Colorado native who now calls the Bozeman, MT area home. I'm a wife, mom of five, and proud grandmother to two sweet granddaughters. I'm also the founder of Armor Marketing Group, where I support entrepreneurs and business owners in scaling their operations. That experience has shaped how I approach my work at Nolia: I understand what it takes to run something well, and I bring that same attention to detail and follow-through to patient care.

Outside of work, I love traveling (my dream is to live near the ocean someday), camping with my family, and quiet evenings at home where I can recharge. I'm grateful to work alongside a team at Nolia that genuinely cares about the people they serve.
